The main theme bar area in my pub has turned out fantastic, I have used Stonlux turn to stone coating on the stone shaped MDF design and the archway mouldings which are now just like stone masonry, no one can tell the difference. We even scrub the bar area down each day, its very hard wearing but it needs to be because the customers kick the bottom part of the bar front.

I recently purchased some Fireplace Stone Coating paint in limestone effect from yourselves and wanted to show my appreciation for the quality of your product. I moved into my new house and it had a marble fireplace which was not to my taste, although I really liked the shape. I didn't want to buy a new fireplace so I decided to try to paint it, and found your product on the internet. Naturally I was apprehensive as to whether it would work, but, after using the product I was amazed. The fireplace has been transformed completely and looks and feels like real stone. Even the fire fitter was surprised it was a marble fireplace. The paint is fantastic quality and great value and I would recommend it to anyone.

I dont generally go out of my way to post comments about products that I have purchased. This is one of the very rare occassions that I have been so impressed that I just had to write to you.

I saw the advertisement for the stone paint when I was actually looking to purchase a new fire surround. I thought what have I got to lose if it doesnt turn out I have only lost the price of the paint.


I have just finished the surround and I cant believe how good it looks. Infact it looks better than the ones I have seen in the shops. For just a liitle time and patience I have saved my self around £700.

I wish I could let everyone who is about to demolish a perfectly good wooden surround just because it is no longer fashionable know just how easy the process is and how fantastic the results are.

I recently purchased the fireplace stone coating paint and would like to take this opportunity to express how grateful i am and that it really is a fantastic product.

I was in a dilemma trying to figure out what to do with the fireplace back panel which was in a very dark blue colour and very out of date.

Luckily i came across your website which solved a real big problem for me as changing the whole fireplace and back panel would have been a hectic move and very expensive.

I would like to thank you for the help and advice I received from you whilst deciding whether or not to paint my Mother’s very dated 60s fireplace. You were quick and efficient from the day of enquiry through to the date of delivery.

I tried out one of your tester pots on a black ceramic tile prior to purchasing the base and fireplace paints, it covered well, so we crossed our fingers and went for it on the real thing. We were not disappointed, we built the coats up thinly one after another until we had the finish we were happy with, the transformation looks absolutely fantastic,

We are all blown away by this product the end result is so good that people think Mum has had a new grate installed!!! I have attached a before and two after pictures, please feel free to use them on your site.

StoneLux Fireplace Stone Coating is spot on and I am really pleased with the finished job, more importantly so is the wife.

I have done our surround in Buff sandstone and the marble hearth and back in grey slatestone.

I found the MDF covered great but I was a little concerned with the first coat on the marble as it seemed to be dragging, the second coat was excellent though. I think the first coat was a little thick so it is much better to put it on in thin coats and not get tempted to put too much on. The third coat has been even easier to apply and the finish super, it' looks great.

I can recommend your product and I will forward a picture to you as soon as I can.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered your Fireplace Stone paint having previously searched in vain for a simple and inexpensive way of changing our unloved wooden fireplace.

I am absolutely delighted with the result - much, much better than I had dared hope for an outlay of £33. You have saved me a considerable amount of money as well as all the disturbance involved in replacing our surround. A picture paints a thousand words so please see the attached before and after photographs.

Did you know that your miniature stone coating has made my dolls house painting more pleasurable, I used to use the fleck paint spray in a can, the fumes were unbearable at times. Your coating has no fumes at all its far better.
