Fireplace Fleck Stone Coating is a water-based fireplace paint specially formulated for application onto fire surrounds. Made from real ground stone to give you a truly authentic and quality stone finish.

Suitable for gas, electrical and inglenook firesurrounds, back panels and hearths. Please note, if you have a solid fuel fire, Fireplace Stone Coating is only suitable for the surround. Apply onto wood & wood finished surrounds, MDF, plaster, brickwork, existing stone, concrete, tiles, marble and most new or old fireplaces.

COLOURS Paint is available in 6 stone shades. All colours are intermixable SF/01 SF/02 SF/04 SF/17 SF/14 SF/50 SIZES Fireplace Fleck Stone Coating packs are available to purchase online (1 litre Fireplace Stone Coating + 500ml Primer). The packs will transform an average sized surround. Also available in tin sizes of:: 2.5 litres, 5 litres, 10 litres & 20 litres. SUITABLE MATERIALS Wood & wood finishes MDF Plaster Brickwork Existing stone  Concrete  Tiles Ceramics Marble and many more... COVERAGE Coverage varies by colour and application. Fleck Stone Coating: 2.5 m2/litre (approx) Primer: 6 m2/litre (approx) DRYING TIME Drying time varies by application and ventilation conditions. Primer: allow approx 2 hours to dry before applying Fireplace Stone Coating. Fleck Stone Coating: allow approx 2 hours between coats. APPLICATION Quick and easy to apply using a brush or spray. Simply follow the instructions on the back of the tin. 1. Prepare all surfaces well. Ensure they are clean, sound and dry. Repair any cracks or dents with a suitable filler. Sand pre-painted or glossy surfaces to provide a key. 2. Apply Base Coat Primer to the surface using a brush. Allow approx. 2 hours to dry thoroughly. 3. Brush on a thin coat of Fireplace Stone Coating (do not try to apply all in one coat), spreading as evenly as possible. Allow approx 2 hours to dry before applying another coat (2-3 thin coats). 4. Apply final coat as in step 3. Stipple the surface while still wet using a stippling brush or a small paste brush to give a uniformed mottled appearance. Continue stippling periodically until your desired effect is achieved.
